Custody Transfer defines the point at which ownership changes hands for the process product being measured. Solid dielectric power cable systems are subject to higher voltages than ever before. Inadequate installation and testing of cable splices and terminations is the number one cause of failure (IEEE Std 493-2007 Table 10-33). Yet over the last few decades, cable splicing as a profession has declined as multi-crafting and departmental merges have made it just a function among many. Proper installation of cable splices and termina-tions drastically improves the lifetime of cables and prevents damage to downstream equipment and nearby personnel.
This hands-on course is intended for new or experienced electri-cians and technicians that install, maintain, repair or troubleshoot5-35 kV solid dielectric power cables. The student should have some field experience and basic knowledge of AC/DC electricity.

DESKRIPSI

Sehubungan dengan banyaknya kasus-kasus kebakaran akibat korsleting listrik atau pemeliharaan fasilitas listrik yg kurang memadai, bersama ini kami memperkenalkan tehnology dalam bidang Preventive Maintenance, yaitu menggunakan photo infrared thermography untuk menganalisa distribusi panas yang berlebih (OverHeating) pada titik-titik sambungan kabel, komponen listrik (Breaker, Capacitor, Contactor, Fuse, dll.) Tehnology pemeriksaan ini sangat aman dipakai (tidak ada efek samping, baik terhadap peralatan yg diperiksa ataupun lingkungan hidup disekitarnya), effective (langsung mendeteksi titik-titik overheatings & lokasinya) dan efficient (Pemeriksaan cepat, mudah dilakukan, dan tidak mengganggu operational peralatan yg diperiksa).

Technology infrared thermography mempergunakan camera infra merah untuk mendeteksi penyimpangan panas yang terjadi pada peralatan-peralatan listrik & mekanik (ME) yg sedang beroperasi. Setiap gejala kerusakan pada peralatan ME akan menimbulkan distorsi panas (Overheating) dibanding suhu normal operasinya. Pada pemeriksaan infrared akan diketahui secara tepat lokasi yg bermasalah, kondisi peralatan / komponen, mutu sambungan / koneksi kabel-kabel, dan kondisi titik-titik singgung rotary equipments. Dengan demikian perbaikan dapat dilakukan sebelum peralatan-peralatan tersebut mengalami kerusakan / kebakaran.

TUJUAN

  1. Peserta memahami konsep Preventive Maintenance untuk mengetahui dengan tepat lokasi titik-titik yg mengalami overheatings sehingga perbaikan dapat dilakukan sebelum kerusakan tersebut terjadi.
  2. Peserta mampu mendeteksi kebocoran pada pipa-pipa steam atau sambungannya (Flanges, Valves)
  3. Peserta mampu menindaklanjuti laporan Infrared untuk dipakai sebagai acuan sebelum melakukan perbaikan / overhaul, sehingga persiapan kebutuhan suku-cadang dan tenaga kerja dapat dilakukan dengan baik.

Pelatihan ini menjelaskan langkah-langkah dan pemahaman tentang pentingnya perawatan rutin dalam perpipaan, karena pemahaman berdasarkan rincian kualitatif, perhitungan, dan teknik sangat penting dalam mendukung keputusan yang kompeten. Pelatihan ini ditujukan untuk menyoroti metode yang digunakan dalam desain pipa dan juga akan melihat ke dalam prosedur apa yang digunakan untuk memelihara dan merehabilitasi jaringan pipa, concentrating on Sewers. Kursus ini juga akan melihat analisis jaringan pipa dan berbagai fenomena dalam pipa

Dalam pelatihan ini akan dibahas pula mengenai persyaratan dalam mendesain untuk proses sistem perpipaan dan persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi terhadap sistem pemeliharaannya. Pelatihan ini menyajikan beberapa contoh kasus yang akan menstimulus peserta sebagai bahan latihan untuk dapat melakukan aplikasi praktis dengan prosedur yang tepat, sampai pada menemukan solusinya.

Program ini dirancang untuk memberikan gambaran yang lengkap dan up-to-date dalam Teknologi Proses Perpipaan. Ini mencakup persyaratan Kode dari desain melalui start-up dari sistem perpipaan baru, serta standar untuk inspeksi dan perbaikan sistem perpipaan yang telah ada, sebagaimana diatur dalam API 570, Piping Inspection Code dan API 579 Fitness for Services. Topik umum dalam pelatihan ini meliputi: Gambaran singkat tentang kode ASME B 31.3, desain tekanan dalam komponen perpipaan, pemilihan flensa, pertimbangan fleksibilitas, material, pengujian dampak, fabrikasi, pemeriksaan dan pengujian. Selanjutnya akan diberikan konsep dan metode untuk menjamin integritas mekanik sistem perpipaan yang ada, yang menyajikan pemahaman menyeluruh tentang bagaimana metodologi API 570 serta API 579 dapat diterapkan untuk menilai integritas struktural komponen perpipaan, dan memutuskan untuk melanjutkan pemakaian. Hal ini juga menunjukkan langkah-langkah perbaikan untuk mitigasi kerusakan dan dengan demikian memperpanjang umur Sistem Perpipaan.

Tujuan

Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah:

  • Peserta akan memperoleh pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang pipa dan spesifikasi material yang tepat, manufaktur, proses fabrikasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap kekuatan dan ketangguhan propeti mekanikal, untuk membantu dalam pemilihan material dan failure analysis. Selanjutnya peserta akan memahami dan memastikan integritas struktural total dari sistem perpipaan, pengolahan, dan manfaatnya
  • Peserta dapat memahami latar belakang teknis untuk formula desain, dan aplikasi untuk desain sistem perpipaan dan pipa. Kursus ini membahas aturan praktek yang tepat dalam tata letak sistem perpipaan untuk pengoperasian yang handal
  • Untuk membiasakan peserta dengan konsep utama, dari kode B 31.3, memahami apakah kode ASME B31.3 telah diterapkan dengan benar ataukah belum, dan memberikan kepada peserta langkah-langkah pendekatan dalam penggunaan B 31.3 kode untuk Desain, fabrikasi, inspeksi instalasi, dan pengujian, sehingga persyaratan desain dari Kode ASME B 31.3 dapat didiskusikan dan diterapkan dengan baik.
  • Peserta dapat mencapai tingkat yang lebih tinggi dalam melakukan pemeliharaan yang unggul dalam proses kegiatan industri, dapat melakukan sertifikasi pengujian tekanan, mengetahui tentang inspeksi pipa, teknik mengevaluasi dan menganalisis data Inspeksi, dan dapat mengetahui bagaimana menghitung laju korosi, interval inspeksi dan parameter yang sama pada  inspeksi pipa.

DESKRIPSI

The Oil & Gas sector relies on the efficient transportation, handling and processing of many hazardous and highly flammable chemical products. These operations generate hazardous levels of static electricity. The first line of defence for catastrophic ignition and explosions is proper grounding & static control measures.

Grounding is defined as electrical equipment connected directly to mother earth, or to some conducting body that serves in place of the earth, such as the steel frame of an oil drilling platform. Proper grounding is essential for safely and reliably operating electrical systems. Improper grounding methodology has the potential to bring disastrous results from both an operational as well as a safety standpoint.

There are many different categories and types of grounding principles. This course covers proper grounding techniques for not only medium- and high-voltage systems but also low-voltage Instrument and Control Systems (IACS) that have been proven safe and reliable when employed in process control facilities.

The increased use of electrical and electronic equipment introduces risk of electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems to operations and performance.

As systems are added, they all contribute and could become susceptible to an intense electromagnetic environment (EME).

Controlling Static Hazards is the key to preventing combustible cloud explosions.

The second part is to present the proper methods for load calculation calculates. Course Description

Power systems equipment must withstand not only the rated voltage, which corresponds to the highest voltage of a particular system, but also expected short level. Accordingly, it is necessary to set protective relays based on these results obtained from short circuit study. One of hot issues now related to these is arc flashing study which is mainly based on the studies of short circuit and relay co-ordination as well. All these three issues should be dealt as integral parts & bulk.

Power System Analysis means verifying the adequacy of the power distribution system and it’s components, recognize coordination related disturbances and outages and collecting the required data to perform a detailed required study.

The continuity and quality of electricity delivered safely and economically by today’s and futures electrical power networks are important for both developed and developing economies. The correct modeling of power system equipment and correct fault analysis of electrical networks are pre-requisite to ensuring safety and they play a critical role in the identification of economic network investments. Environmental and economic factors require engineers to maximize the use of existing assets which in turn require accurate modeling and analysis techniques.
