COURSE DESCRIPTION

Ketika perusahaan atau instansi pemerintah menerapkan perundangan lingkungan dan program lingkungan (seperti AMDAL, ISO 14001, PROPER dan lain-lain) maka pemantauan lingkungan penting dilakukan untuk tujuan spesifik antara lain:

  • Memenuhi persyaratan internal dan eksternal
  • Bahan untuk perancangan
  • Pengendalian proses
  • Pembuktian dalam proses hukum, Penelitian, dll

Salah satu media lingkungan yang penting untuk dipantau adalah kualitas air buangan dari kegiatan industri dan kualitas badan air penerima. Agar hasil pemantauan – baik yang dilakukan oleh pihak internal maupun eksternal perusahaan – tersebut dapat dipertanggungjawabkan objektivitas dan validasinya maka pemantauan haruslah dilakukan dengan prinsip, teknik, sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan prosedur yang benar dengan memperhatikan hal-hal berikut:

  • Tujuan pemantauan air / Udara
  • Baku mutu effluent air limbah dan baku mutu kualitas badan air
  • Sampling (prosedur, teknik, lokasi pengambilan dan penanganan)
  • Satuan-satuan dalam pemantauan, Dll

Hasil pemantauan seperti inilah yang dapat digunakan untuk melihat kesesuaian (compliance) antara kinerja lingkungan perusahaan dengan peraturan yang berlaku dan untuk mengukur kinerja program lingkungan, sehingga dapat ditentukan tindak lanjut dan perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Hasil pemantauan ini digunakan untuk membuat laporan lingkungan baik mandatory (laporan. 3 bulanan ke Pemda) maupun yang voluntary (laporan tahunan ke publik).

Course Description

Get comprehensive coverage of grounding system design procedures for safety and lightning shielding. Start with a simplified coverage of the basic principles in grounding design, followed by a step-by-step design procedure.

Explore soil characterization, including soil testing methods, data interpretation and a workshop. Discuss modeling requirements and data preparation procedures for substation ground system design and lightning shielding. Discuss practical examples and see demonstrations of design procedures with three examples of realistic systems — (a) a generation substation, (b) a transmission substation, (c) a distribution substation.

Investigate options for controlling ground potential rise, touch and step voltages. Quantify the influence of grounding systems on nearby pipes, fences and buildings with the use of the WinIGS program. Discuss design procedures to limit transfer voltages to safe levels. Design the lightning shielding system for these substations to minimize the risk from lightning overvoltages.
