TRAINING CO2 EOR MODELLING

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is for engineers or technical personnel who would like to learn the techniques of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) by CO2 injection in a miscible flood process. WinProp knowledge and incorporating laboratory measured data to create an Equation-of-State (EoS) based fluid model is a prerequisite, as well as some simulation experience, preferably compositional modelling.

ABOUT THE COURSE

This course introduces the method of creating PVT data for miscible and pseudo-miscible floods using the IMEX and GEM simulators. Participants will learn how to create a model to simulate core studies in GEM. A 3D pseudo-miscible flood model will be constructed, using IMEX, to create an EOR scenario based on CO2 injection. Participants will convert the data from IMEX to GEM and create a 3D compositional miscible flood model and compare the results to the IMEX pseudo-miscible case. Participants will learn how to tune the numerical parameters to reduce the run time and the material balance error.

  • Examination of first contact and multi-contact miscibility situations
  • Create a simulation model in GEM and history match core studies for miscible floods
  • Create a pseudo-miscible 3D simulation model using IMEX
  • Create a compositional miscible flood 3D simulation model using GEM
  • Run EOR cases using CO2 pseudo-miscible flood (IMEX) and miscible flood (GEM) and compare the results
  • Tuning numerical parameters to enhance the run performance

CBM SIMULATION USING GEM

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course covers Coal Bed Methane (CBM) reservoir simulation using GEM. This course is designed for engineers, geologists and technical personnel who are undertaking basic or advanced CBM reservoir simulation. A basic reservoir engineering background in coal bed methane is required with little or no reservoir simulation experience.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The course introduces the latest technology in compositional simulation using GEM. CBM reservoir theory and simulation concepts will be discussed. This course also includes instruction using Builder, which provides data preparation for compositional simulation (GEM) for CBM reservoirs. Basic raw data such as geological maps, fluid composition data, core analysis, production data, and perforation/completion events are imported into Builder to build a complete GEM dataset. Formats for each type of data will be introduced. Field development concepts using group controls, automatic well drilling options, etc. will be discussed. Concepts of uncertainty analysis, experimental design techniques, assisted history matching, and optimization will be discussed.

  • Grid creation using maps and Rescue import from geological software
  • Input of CBM reservoir characteristics including adsorption data for a multiple component system
  • Input data for multiple porosity system for CBM reservoirs
  • Preparation of rock/fluid properties using analytical correlations
  • Discussions on well configurations: vertical, horizontal, multilateral, etc.
  • ECBM with CO2 injection
  • Effect of coal matrix shrinkage and swelling
  • Validate data and run simulation dataset, review results using Results 3D and Results Graph
  • Discussion of history matching techniques using manual and assisted history matching methods

Profiling is essentially building up a picture of an individual’s characteristics such as likely behaviours, attitudes, personal traits, unique skills or capabilities, and so forth in relation to norms of the general population. It is an assessment carried out by a skilled psychologist, using techniques and tools from psychology to learn general and specific facts about a person. In other words, a profile is a comparison of one person’s traits and behaviours to those of everyone else. It is a picture of how similar or different someone is, how well or poorly they perform, on a range of characteristics in relation to the average scores and performances of the general population.

Fraud adalah kecurangan sistematis terhadap system perusahaan. Pengambilan sample dan uji parameter kualitas lingkungan merupakan pekerjaan yang tidak mudah, karena karakteristik polutan lingkungan yang bersifat dinamis dan bermigrasi seiring dengan perubahan situasi dan kondisi setempat. Selain itu, konsentrasi dari parameter kualitas lingkungan bersifat mikro (rendah) sehingga menjadi problem analitik yang sering muncul ketika menganalisa sample lingkungan di laboratorium.

Rendahnya konsentrasi parameter tersebut menyebabkan sample mudah mengalami degradasi, dekomposisi, deteriosasi dan kontaminasi dari berbagai sumber baik ketika pengambilan, perlakuan di lapangan, transportasi, penyimpanan, preparasi maupun analisis di laboratorium. Sementara itu, untuk mendapatkan contoh lingkungan yang homogen dan representatif merupakan masalah yang sering muncul. Dengan contoh yang homogen dan representatif, data hasil pengujian dapat menggambarkan kualitas lingkungan pada daerah dan waktu tertentu yang mendekati kondisi sebenarnya.

Solid dielectric power cable systems are subject to higher voltages than ever before. Inadequate installation and testing of cable splices and terminations is the number one cause of failure (IEEE Std 493-2007 Table 10-33). Yet over the last few decades, cable splicing as a profession has declined as multi-crafting and departmental merges have made it just a function among many. Proper installation of cable splices and termina-tions drastically improves the lifetime of cables and prevents damage to downstream equipment and nearby personnel.
This hands-on course is intended for new or experienced electri-cians and technicians that install, maintain, repair or troubleshoot5-35 kV solid dielectric power cables. The student should have some field experience and basic knowledge of AC/DC electricity.

Deskripsi :
Sejalan dengan pelaksanaan otonomi daerah maka timbul konsekuensi logis berupa tuntutan untuk menyelenggarakan pemerintahan berdasarkan manajemen keuangan yang sehat ( good governance). Keuangan daerah tidak hanya berkaitan dengan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD), namun juga anggaran perusahaan yang tergabung dalam Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) seperti yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2003 tentang Keuangan Negara, dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 58 Tahun 2005 tentang Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah yang menyatakan bahwa kekayaan dipisahkan pada perusahaan daerah merupakan bagian dari kekayaan negara/daerah.

Secara umum pendirian BUMD dimaksudkan untuk memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan perekonomian daerah dan menjadi sumber pendapatan asli daerah (PAD), namun fakta menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar BUMD di Indonesia masih memiliki kinerja yang memprihatinkan. Salah satu alasan utamanya adalah manajemen yang belum dikelola dengan baik karena belum berjalannya fungsi perencanaan dan pengendalian serta masih belum dipahaminya prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Perusahaan (RKAP) merupakan salah satu alat perencanaan dan pengendalian manajemen dan sekaligus sebagai media akuntabilitas manajemen. RKAP yang disiapkan secara matang, akan banyak membantu manajemen dalam memenuhi prinsip akuntabilitas dan transparansi, namun kelemahan dalam penyiapan RKAP juga dapat mempengaruhi kredibilitas manajemen.
