Electrical Safety: Hazards and Protective Measures Electrical hazards can result in serious injuries or death for personnel that work on or around electrical equipment. In Fact, electrocutions rank fourth in causes of industrial fatalities. In order to ensure a safe workplace, personnel must understand electrical safety regulations, electrical hazards, and the use of safe work procedures and protective equipment. Course Methodology This course will be highly interactive and include group discussions, case studies and syndicate work. Participants will have the opportunity to use reported accidents as workshop material to determine what went wrong and identify the steps that could have been taken in order to prevent the incident.
